Tomás Pinto Moura
A qualified business lawyer, admitted to practice in Portugal and in Timor-Leste, with extensive experience in business law.
Over the course of his career, he has developed a robust practice in the business sector, specializing in complex commercial transactions, regulatory compliance and corporate governance and regularly provides legal counsel to businesses across various sectors, including banking, telecommunications, energy and infrastructure.
Having acquired experience both as in-house counsel at prominent oil & gas companies, including at a publicly traded company and in private practice at leadings law firms, including at a tier 1 law firm (Corporate and M&A), he has frequently assisted in projects evolving a diverse range of clients, from local enterprises to Fortune Global 500 companies.
Tomás holds an LL.M. in Commercial Law (Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam) and several training courses in his area of expertise, including a course on ASEAN Business and Investment Law (Chulalongkorn University). He is also a published author in Timor-Leste, contributing to the development of local business law.
